The primary challenge was to seamlessly blend -- through workmanship and materials -- the existing church with two new building structures. Among the jobsite considerations: The church is situated in a residential area and remained operational during construction. Also, winter weather delays had to be remedied by continually adjusting the work schedule to remain on time.
Shelter Rock Church
The project included ground-up construction of a brand-new multipurpose building with wrap-around terrace and basement, a pre-engineered gymnasium, as well as exterior work on the church. The new basement opened to the church’s existing basement.
